The Housing Authority of Mingo has been in existence since 1975 and has grown from serving nine families with rental assistance in the Mingo County area to over 1,431 families in Mingo, Logan, Wayne, McDowell and Wyoming Counties. Not only does the Housing Authority have a rental assistance program, but it also serves in helping families reach the "American Dream" of becoming homeowners.
