Please keep in mind, The Mingo County Housing Authority does not currently provide Emergency Housing and must adhere to our Waitlist.

Paper Applications are available; for a paper application, please contact us or visit our office at 5026 Helena Avenue, Delbarton, WV 25670, during normal business hours: Monday through Thursday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

When Applying for Housing, Please Keep in Mind

Once your application is submitted, you will be placed on the Housing Authority of Mingo County's waiting list.

There are no fees for applying to the waiting list.
You're placed on the waiting list by date and time of your application.
Our agency does not provide emergency housing.
The online application portal will be available 24 hours a day
All mailing address changes MUST be submitted in writing to our agency.
If applying online you MUST save your Log-In ID and Password! You will need them to check the status of your application. Please do not call for the status of your application.

Reasonable Accommodation: It is the policy of the Housing Authority of Mingo County to provide reasonable accommodations to those persons with disabilities so that they can participate equally in its housing programs. To request a reasonable accommodation, please contact our agency at PO Box 120, Delbarton WV 25670.

After you have successfully applied, if applying online, you should print the confirmation of application that appears on the last page of the process. You may also receive a confirmation via email if an email address is provided. If you do not have an e-mail account, you will have the opportunity to create one while completing the application.
